View Full Version : 2 1/2 weeks into first phase and im at a plateau

hi everyone im just now joining i have been on the hcg drops for 2 1.2 weeks im now at 137 down from 153 but i was at 140 after day 9 i havent cheated i follow this diet 100% and im frustrated because for 4 days i havent lost any weight? nothing changed ive done the apple day and no results any ideas thanks

Hi and welcome.

Doing an apple day is mostly physoclogical and even if you do receive a loss the day after doing one you will most likely see gains and stalls for days to follow. If an eapple day is done when not needed you will most definaltey see gains and days in the days to follow.

an apple day should only be done if there is absolutely no loss or gain what so ever for 3 straight days and then on the 4th day if still no loss or gain you would then do the apple day.

It is very common to have stalls after you have lost a large amount and it appears you have lost 16 lbs in about 16 days which is awesome! Once fat cells are depleated they will hold onto water until they realize it is not needed and then you will usually see a whosh and also its called Pounds and Inches for a reason....when you aren't loosing lbs you are more then likely loosing inches. Have you taken measurements lately or tried on smaller clothes?

What Brand of HCG are you using and where did you get it from? Ther are tons of companies out there sellign what they claim to be HCG but it actually doesn't have any in it at all! IF in the ingridients it deosn't say HCG 6x, 12x, 30x, 60x then you don't have good HCG and your stall is more then likely due to that and your body is going into starvation mode and holding onto all you are eating now.

There are tons of factors of why you could be stalling so we would really need to know more information to know for sure what could be causing it.

What foods and how much, how many calories are you eating daily, are you male or female, how tall are you, have you ever been at this weight for any lenght of time prior in your life?

hey shannon :) Im erica im 25 im 5 "2 female im using the hcg triumph hcg 12x 30x 60x .. yah 135-137 is the weight i help for 3 years over the past 6 months i crept up to 153.. i stick to the diet 100 grams of aproved meat i use beef chicken n fish never same meat a day and aproved vegtables.. i cook with only salt pepper lemon juce and natrual herbs. salt sodiam and suger free broth for soup.. i hit day 4 no change at all in my weight did an apple day and today i still have no results. so im a little lost as what i can do..

Since this weight is a weight you have been at for a long period of time before then this would be considered an old set point and some times it takes a while to bust through an old set point. Don't do any more apple days and just stick itout and stick to protocol and things will move again soon. I know its frustrating but it is just part of the diet and how it works. If you haven't read Pounds and Inches by Dr. ATW Simeons then you should, there is a section in there about stalling and old set points. You can google it and get a downloadable copy you can print for free.

I know a lady that has done multiple rounds and had a 12 day stall in every round she did.

Also be careful with using the store bought broth and make sure you are reading the ingridients if they are store bought they can be loaded with all kinds of bad things and every time I ever tried to use store bought broth I stalled or gained.

ok thank you :) thats good to know im not the only one and i need to just stick it through yah the broth is from natural food store its sodiam free sugar free cal fre i sure hope i get through this soon

ive also noticed the past 2 days ive been more hungry out of the blue i usually have to choke down my calories and now i feel like im starving ? ever heard of this

any other ideas o thought to get through this? ive also notices for 2 days im actually hungry again unlike before i could barely eat my 500 and was full all the time>
