Planned interruption is when you get off of P2 for no more than 2 weeks and then resume back to P2. Those who do a PI are usually done if they have a vacation coming up in which they know they won't be able to stick strictly to P2.

You have to be on P2 for at least the minimum 23 days before you can take a PI and when you resume P2 after a PI, you have to be on P2 for a minimum 23 days before you move onto the next phase.

During a PI, people usually stick to eating P3 way.

If you are doing a PI then no you don't continue taking the drops but for 2 days after you stop the drops you still have to eat the 500 calorie diet for 48 days before you can move onto your PI and eat P3 foods.
