HCG Diet and Exercise for Females

Women deal with different dieting and exercise issues that men simply do not face. Women also face issues with weight gain that do not occur in men, for example, pregnancy and weight gain. Women are biologically different from men and therefore require unique dieting and exercise methods. Females naturally have bodies that store fat with greater ease. This is why a woman needs to develop some lean muscle mass on the HCG diet plan, but rigorous exercise is not recommended on this diet. So how can a woman do both?

Before beginning the HCG diet, female dieter may want to go to the doctor to have her hormone levels tested. An imbalance in the hormones may limit the amount of weight that the dieter loses or it can slow down the weight loss process considerably. Ensuring that her hormones are balanced will also ensure the dieter get the most out of her dieting endeavors.

Taking a class for low impact aerobics helps to burn calories, to improve cardiovascular processes, and to tone the body. You can also try things like Yoga if that’s more your style. The body continues to burn calories even when exercises stop, and this is truly beneficial for the female HCG dieter. What’s more, classes can be engaging, fun, and a place to meet like-minded individuals.

Speed walking and jogging are exercises that are wonderful because they are effective and you need no equipment to speed walk or jog except comfortable clothing and good shoes. You can increase the heart rate, burn calories, tone the legs, buttocks, and core torso muscles with jogging or speed walking too. You can jog or walk for a half hour every other day. The key is to maintain a quality speed without becoming too rigorous with your exercise efforts while using the HCG diet plan.

The light use of free weights can help a female develop lean muscle mass without a super rigorous workout. The use of free weights gives females a twofold benefit: the increase of the metabolic rate and the development of muscle. More energy is needed to maintain lean muscles than is needed to maintain unwanted body fat. The body will burn off more calories and fat. The use of free weights can help develop muscles that are not overly muscular but that help to keep the body from retaining fat. You can use free weights in your home and you don’t have to go to the local gym for a workout; you will find free weight equipment quite affordable.

However, it is very important not to engage in any strenuous exercise while on the HCG diet in order to avoid losing existing lean muscles. Remember to keep your exercise level from light to moderate only.
