What happened to the good old eating healthy (not paranoid healthy) and working out? YES some people lose weight from cleansing but.. The fat I currently see on my thighs and arms.. that isn't going to go away from cleansing alone.. And it says to workout..lift weights.. How can you lift weights and such while on a maximum diet of 500 or 800? Your brain only sees what you give it.. its going to take a few weeks until it realizes 'hey I'm burning fat I already have'.. so the more you will workout off the bat.. the more hungry you will get! With 40hr work week that we all work.. I can't imagine waking up and making myself some salmon.. its great and all but.. come on.. be realistic.. yes it takes effort.. but Salmon in the morning?! And 10pm bed time while rising at 6am?! We're human.. not robots on clock-work....

I agree, & I've lost 78 lbs, I am a 43 yr old female. I've just did the warrior dash, & signing up to do the tough mudder, The only other thing I would add to the list is get a buddy to do it with, it'll give you some accountability on those lazy or nasty weather days! Q: Where is the new age???? The seemingly exceptable sin of the church is gluttony, & that is not Christ-like. Christ wants us healthy & off all drugs. Although He loves us just as we are, He just refuses to keep us that way.so please don't be to judgmental
After all as Einstein once said to do something over & over again and expect different result is insanity....

I recommend taking probiotics, and cleansing well, before doing hCG. I've done Simeons protocol and lost almost 40 lbs and kept it off two years now, but I find that I have food sensitivities now which make losing more weight difficult. And these sensitivities limit my diet. Many overweight people suffer from candida, hypoglycemia, and are sensitive to dairy and carbs, but they don't know it. I've read that cleansing and probiotics do help the body heal from the unnatural junk we all think is normal food. These suggestions should help you long term. Definitely do try these if doing hCG, because hCG wont fix these problems. And these problems make life after hCG frustratingly tricky.

Many slim and skinny people smoke and drink but it eventually catches up with them and they look old and develop health problems. I agree with KT's suggestions for good health: Many of the above items are very easy to do. Drinking water, eating apples and grapefruits, eating breakfast, taking Eleotin, drinking Yerba Mate, Wu Long, and Chamomile tea, taking coral calcium, adding hot peppers and cinnamon, and eating a big salad with lunch and dinner are all very easy to do. Avoiding the forbidden ingredients such as artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, and MSG is also easy to do. Simply shop at a market such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, or Wild Oats, and read the ingredient list on the label!

What is so hard about this? Nothing! This is all Much easier than being dependent on doctors and prescription overload to stay healthy. Liberals who believe everything government and pharmaceuticals tell them the truth or will keep them healthy are like sheep to the slaughter. Conservatives know that being healthy is an individual responsibility!
Liberals are frauds who like to tell everyone ELSE how to live; notice Michelle's 1,700 calorie meal at the hamburger joint with shake, fries, and double burger?

I have read the other blogs on phase 1. I understand that everything costs money and everything takes time to re-adjust to a new diet. If people understood chemistry a little better they would see how much junk we do put into our bodies. Over time all this excess junk in our bodies will become a problem, eg obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabeties etc, etc. I don't mind swapping pharmacy medicine for organic food, I think the swap works out even in of dollars.
Don't take this as gospel, this is only my opinion.

Cheers

I think I saw every new age cure-all I've ever heard of in that list, aside from maybe those pads that "suck" toxins out of your whole body through your feet. I'm very dubious how many of these things actually do any good.

Number 60 is the most ridiculous. No.. every over the counter drug isn't poisoning you. That one bit alone makes the author of this list sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist that thinks the government and all corporations are trying to mind control everyone with magic rays. One paranoid person.

Undoubtedly attempting to follow these 60! suggestions would help a person get healthier overall, but how many of them are a waste of time?
There's a LOT of extra money and effort spent in many of those things, having to pay $70 or far more for each special cleanse, herb treatment or procedure. Even buying organic costs more and you often get smaller portions for what you pay.

Just use some sense and don't believe everything you read that's had "research" to prove its claims.

What is he suggesting we eat for lunch and dinner besides the salad? Is it anything, or the items listed for breakfast? I do see he did mention dairy... is this non-fat or any?

Following these recommendations without HCG would greatly reduce weight. And if anyone could follow this it could indicate a willingness to watch the diet and eat better to keep it off. I would guess over 90% trying this will quit. The key, at this point, is does your particular brand of HCG have enough product to register a reasonable amount of the hormone? Last what is the source for your HCG? I mean is it all lab created,; animal base, combination of animal and chemical? what is it?
