Foods Dieters Continue to Eat After HCG Diet Plan is Complete

By admin Leave a Comment

When a dieter partakes of the HCG diet plan, he or she will develop better and healthier eating habits. New food selections are introduced to HCG dieter and these foods are not only nutritious, but incredibly tasty. Once the HCG dieter has managed to drop the extra pounds he or she desires to lose, the dieter continues to eat the same foods that they have found so tasty during the dieting process. Since they continue to eat foods with high nutritional value, the dieter therefore is able to benefit from long term weight loss success.

It seems that integrating healthy foods into one’s eating is a natural move for the HCG dieter. Good foods with low calorie values eventually become regular dietary staples for the successful HCG dieter. This means that the dieter has relearned how to eat in a healthy way and the HCG diet results in a lifetime of healthy changes. There are three specific foods that many HCG dieters continue to consume long after the dieting has ceased, including asparagus, ground turkey, and melba toast.

Asparagus is not something that a lot of people try before the HCG diet plan. Interestingly, asparagus is on the list of limited, approved HCG diet friendly foods. This encourages many HCG dieters to consume asparagus for the very first time, and, as it is with the joy of discovery, a lot of HCG dieters find asparagus is very tasty! If steamed properly, asparagus can prove a great side vegetable for any regular meal.

Lean Ground turkey is another food that HCG dieters continue to consume long after the dieting has ended. When the meat is extra lean it is definitely a healthy food choice, and it serves as a healthy replacement for fatty ground beef. Since HCG dieters get to try old dishes with a new flare by simply using ground turkey instead of beef, they learn that there are new ways to experience their favorite beef, fat loaded entrees.

Melba toast is super as a side for soup, as a quick breakfast, and it can even be dried and used in stuffing or as a salad topper. Rather than turning to high calorie white and wheat bread offerings, melba toast becomes the preference of former HCG dieters. Melba toast can also be consumed as a fast midday low calorie snack.

There are so many delicious offerings to be had with the HCG diet. It is easy for the dieter to become accustomed to enjoying low calorie, yet tasty foods. These foods still appeal to the former HCG dieter who moves into the stage of weight loss maintenance. With healthy food selections as a preference, the successful dieter will thwart any potential for regaining the weight lost. This assures long term and satisfying weight loss success and a happier, healthier lifestyle.

Eat Healthy Foods During and After the HCG Diet Plan

By admin Leave a Comment

The HCG diet allows dieters to successfully reacquaint their body with healthy food offerings. An HCG dieter, while restricting his or her food intake within 500 calories each day, understands what foods are good and learns how to choose and cook foods that are low in fat, yet high in vitamins and minerals. He or she also learns to stay away from foods that contain too much sugar, as he or she changes the eating habit and cooks tasty meals that are loaded with nutrients.

The HCG diet protocol consists of a variety of healthy food selections, including apples, asparagus, beef, celery, chicken, fish, grapefruit, onions, oranges, spinach, strawberries, tea, tomatoes, and turkey. Even though many of the foods on the HCG diet are not necessarily something that the dieter was accustomed to eating before the diet, she will soon adjust to the changes in the eating habits as she sees the amazing changes that HCG weight loss brings to her body.

In addition, HCG dieters will learn to be creative and to cook intriguing HCG diet recipes out of approved foods on their own. Even healthy food preparation methods are mastered while on the HCG diet plan. The dishes that they learn to create are enjoyed even after the dieting program has ended. That is to say, after being introduced to the proper path for eating, HCG dieters make good food choices a lifetime habit.

Unlike other low calories diets where the dieter eats healthy while dieting, but returns to bad eating habits soon after the diets are over, the HCG diet plan teaches dieters what foods are acceptable and how to choose foods wisely when they follow the HCG diet protocol strictly. When dieters are reacquainting themselves with healthy foods through the HCG diet plan, they will be able to lose all the extra weight they want to lose in less than two months. The smart food choices and healthy eating habits are then carried over into the weight maintenance phase where dieters won’t face constant temptations or frustrations that usually lead to quick weight gain back.

Since the HCG diet results in such a fast weight loss, the dieter’s energy levels and confidence are increased dramatically at the same time. This new level of energy and high levels of confidence are cared over into one’s habits and lifestyle. This will encourage the dieter to maintain an active lifestyle with healthy food choices even long after the diet ends, and thus keep the unwanted weight off for a lifetime.

Foods to Stall Your HCG Weight Loss

By admin Leave a Comment

The HCG dieting plan requires that you only consume specific foods and that you limit your caloric intake to 500 calories per day. There are some very obvious food selections that will hinder the effectiveness of the HCG weight loss including things like cakes, candy, donuts, and sugar containing products. What’s more, even if you are eating everything you should be eating and you are staying away from those nasty diet breakers, you may encounter a moment when you seemingly reach the plateau and stop losing weight. You can do a steak day or apple day as recommended and still have problems making the weight disappear. This means that you are eating something you shouldn’t, even if you don’t realize it.

If you have found that your HCG diet efforts have come to an abrupt halt, it is time to make an assessment of what you have been consuming. Make sure you are not mixing veggies or eat the same meat for lunch and dinner. Besides that, there are some foods or ingredients that can thwart your success. Here is what you need to watch out for:

Melba toast: Although Dr. Simeons included Melba toast in his original HCG diet protocol, however many dieters have reported cutting out Melba toast can increase weight loss on the HCG diet.

Eggs: If you are eating eggs on the HCG diet, it may be time to stop. The yolk of the egg contains nine calories for each gram. This yolk also has an ingredient known as arachidonic acid. You may actually be sensitive to this ingredient and it can hinder your dieting success. You can do away with yolks all together and simply consume egg whites instead.

Sweeteners
: if you are using sweeteners like Equal and Splenda in your beverages this could cause stall or weight gain on the HCG diet. You will want to do away with any sweeteners of any kind. You can replace these sweeteners with Stevia, which adds a sweetness to beverages and also helps to reduce your appetite.

Sugars
: If you are consuming any kind of sugars, whether natural or manufactured, you can slow down or even fail your HCG weight loss. Sugars can be identified by many names, so check out your foods to see if they contain any of the following: Xylose, Xylitol, Turbinado Sugar, Treacle, Syrup, Sugar Alcohols, Sucrose, Sorghum Syrup, Sorbitol Saccharose, Rice Syrup, Raw Sugar, Molasses, Maple Syrup, Mannitol, Maltose, Maltodextrin, Maltitol Syrup, Maltitol, Malt Syrup, Lactose, Lactitol, Isomalt, Invert Sugar, Hydrogenated Starch, Hydrolysate, Honey, High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Glucose, Fruit Juice Concentrate, Fructose, Erythritol, Dextrose, Dextrin, Dehydrated Cane Juice, Corn Syrup Solids, Corn Syrup or Corn Sweetener.

It is very important to watch what you’re eating while on the HCG weight loss diet. Prepare a food journal to record your daily dieting patterns, so you could identify certain foods that might cause you to stall or gain weight.

Foods to Avoid on the HCG Hormone Weight Loss

By admin 1 Comment

Just as it is on every diet, when you are doing the HCG hormone weight loss, there are foods you are not allowed to eat. This does not mean you are depriving yourself, but it does mean that you are intentionally changing your food selections to eat healthier, very low calorie foods.

Let’s face it, we can’t all afford to have some personal trainer at our side coaxing us to eat what we are supposed to and to stay away from the foods we have to steer clear of. Instead we have to take on the responsibility ourselves. You can easily lose up to 30 to 40 pounds in 40 days, if you remain true to the HCG diet protocol.

In fact, you will still have lots of variety when it comes to food selections while on the HCG diet plan. You can have lean protein such as fish, turkey, chicken and beef, strawberries, apples, grapefruits, tomatoes, celery, asparagus, onions and cabbage.

However, HCG hormone weight loss does requires to limit your daily food intake to 500 calories per day with a strict limit on the food items that you can choose to make up those 500 calories. While on the diet, you are limited from consuming soda, juices (unless freshly squeezed juices), milk or alcohol. You can drink water or any kind of herbal tea on the planet, but you cannot use sweeteners of any kind other than Stevia. So that means no sugars or honey or even sugar substitutes are allowed. In addition, you are recommended not consuming chicken legs, bell peppers, blackberries, broccoli, carrots, marbled steak, or sausage.

If you follow the HCG diet correctly, you will drop one pound every day. The key to a successful HCG hormone weight loss is remaining true to the diet and not eating what you shouldn’t. The foods you once consumed that had empty calories or that hindered your digestive processes and metabolism can be replaced with foods that augment your weight loss efforts. In no time, you will be looking like your old self again and you will feel great after dropping those extra pounds with HCG diet.
